Thomas Freedman

Registered Maine and New Hampshire Fly Fishing Guide

Tom Freedman started fishing at a very young age, and he has been an addict ever since. He grew up fishing the waters locally around Errol, New Hampshire and on various trips with his father all over New England. As he got older, he began to venture out on his own and started to devote more time to exploring the fishing opportunities in the Rangeley, Maine area.

It only made sense that when it came time to go to college he would find a field that was related to his interest. Tom graduated from Unity College in 2007 with a degree in Fisheries Science. He sought employment in his field, and has spent time working for NH Fish and Game, and more recently in private commercial aquaculture.

Tom devotes himself wholeheartedly to his fly fishing passion. When he isn’t guiding, he is fishing on his own trying to refine his craft, mastering new techniques, tying his own custom flies, and researching ways he can become a better fisherman. Tom is always happy to share what he knows about this great sport, and hopes that you will come fish with him soon!
